SECTION II. OPERATOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND SERVICES
2.2 INTRODUCTION TO PMCS TABLE .
2.2.1. General Preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) means systematic caring, inspection and
servicing of equipment to keep it in good condition and to prevent breakdowns. As the equipment operator,
your mission is to:
a. Perform PMCS each time you operate the hydraulic power supply. Always do PMCS in the same
order, so it gets to be a habit. Once you've had some practice, you'll quickly spot anything wrong
b. Do BEFORE (B) PMCS just before you operate. Pay attention to WARNINGs, CAUTIONs, and
NOTEs.
