PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND SERVICES
Section III.
General.
Preventive maintenance is the systematic care, inspection, and
servicing of equipment to maintain it in a serviceable condition,
prevent breakdowns, and assure maximum operational capability.
Preventive maintenance checks and services of the power supply test
set at the organizational maintenance level are performed at daily,
weekly, and monthly intervals, unless otherwise directed by the
commanding officer. Maintenance forms and records to be used and
maintained on this equipment are specified in DA PAM 738-750 (TAMMS).
