Note:
When voltage is within nominal limits and output current is less than
1000 amps, the generator will continue to operate regardless of CURRENT LIMIT
SELECTOR switch setting. The GCU will reduce field excitation to reduce
generator voltage as current increases above the selected limit. The voltage
will drop below the normal limit (21 1 vdc) and the GCU will open the dc
contactor when current exceeds the values listed below:
