SPEED SENSOR MALFUNCTION.

If the speed sensor is suspected of malfunctioning, teat the sensor and engine
harness as follows:
a.
Disconnect battery.
b.
Cut and remove lockwire from speed sensor electrical
c.
Check resistance between pins A and C of speed sensor.
d.
Resistance should he less than 20 ohms. If resistance is

Check resistance between pin B of speed sensor and housing.
If resistance is greater than 1 ohm, replace speed sensor.
